We’ve got no time to lose in today’s blog, so we’ll cut to the chase; you join us in the midst of a two-part blog series on team-building activities, their benefits, and why TreeRunner West Bloomfield Adventure Park is the best eastern Michigan setting you will find for instilling your team with passion and unity!
In part one, we discussed aerial adventure parks in general before highlighting that TreeRunner aerial parks are designed for a wide range of ages, experience levels, and physical abilities; we’ve got a Junior Park for kiddos ages four through seven, and our oldest-ever climber was 97 years old, to provide a few examples on the opposite ends of the spectrum.
After that, we highlighted four key benefits of team-building activities from a business, employer-minded perspective: increased production, improved morale, outlets for creativity, and refining problem-solving skills. Go ahead and read part one in its entirety if you get the chance, but for the purposes of today’s blog, we’ll go ahead and dive into exploring what makes team building at TreeRunner such a fantastic idea!
Team Building At TreeRunner
Below is a lift of some of the unique ways we develop team spirit and special group skills at our TreeRunner team-building events:
- Communication Development
- Conflict Management
- Leadership Development
- Trust Building
- Creative Problem Solving
- Time and Resource Management
While you might be able to find a venue which offers similar opportunities for character building, we take it up a notch at TreeRunner, offering two distinct team-building add-on packages for a customized experience.
- Option 1 Team Bonding – Our trained facilitator conducts challenging ground initiatives to promote group cohesion, communication, and trust. After the debriefing, your crew will head into the treetops to experience the park on their own. Keep in mind each group’s leader will have input regarding the nature of the ground initiatives.
- Option 2 Team Development – An even more customized facilitator-led ground initiative is led by our facilitator. Following a debrief, your group will have an awesome, supervised climb, featuring skill-based challenges given to them by a facilitator from the ground level. This option is great because everyone gets to be involved in the challenges, even non-climbers!
Ultimately, our objective is to make sure your staff has an incredible time while they learn to trust themselves and their teammates. We love describing our aerial adventures in blog-form, but truth be told, there’s really nothing like experiencing it!
